Everyone else who was affected by the Marker was told by the Marker in some way to bring it back to Aegis 7 so it could be made whole again.

If the manta ray necromorphs are what turn the dead into necromorphs and the other types create the dead bodies for them to turn, then how was the first manta ray necromorph created?.

Why didn't Isaac know Nicole was dead until the end? The very first time he received Nicole's message wouldn't he have watched it all the way through? I know at the beginning of the game the video got interrupted when they got close to the Ishimura but Kendra mentioned that he's had her message on repeat so we know he's watched it multiple times, surely one of those times he would've seen the whole thing.

Keep in mind I have only played the remake, so if any of these questions are answered in the other games or the supplementary material like the movies or comics, I wouldn't know. I just beat the Dead Space Remake and while I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on the story and everything that occurred, there are a few questions I have that I'm hoping the community can answer for me.
